Andy Huang, formerly of Amazon, now leads Shein’s U.S.
fulfillment and logistics operations from the Bellevue office.
The new office in Bellevue’s Key Tower will not only function as a hub for U.S.
logistics but also is poised to create job opportunities.
Shein anticipates employing over 50 individuals in the 10,000-square-foot space by the end of 2024, adding to its workforce of 1,500+ employees across various locations including Los Angeles, San Diego, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.
Competition and Growth
ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok and a key player in the e-commerce landscape, is also expanding its footprint in Bellevue’s Key Tower.
This move is seen as part of the competition with Amazon for online shoppers, with ByteDance securing a significant portion of the building, hinting at its ambitious growth plans.
